Lady Panthers Get Help

Colleyville Heritage (17-12, 2-4 in District 5-5A) is two games out of the playoff picture but hopes the return of Jordan Jesberg on offense can provide a boost.

Jesberg had been relegated to the role of libero while she recovered from a shoulder injury, but, more than a month ahead of schedule, she was cleared to return to hitting and is back at outside hitter.

"Right now we're at the point of our season where we can put six healthy people on the floor that can contribute and make the difference in matches," coach Libby Torres said. "It will take a little while for Jordan to get her rhythm back, but offensively she'll be able to help us out."

Jesberg had seven kills Tuesday night in a victory over Haltom.
