A couple of changes made all the difference as the No. 1 Lady Dragons (20-4, 2-0 District 5-5A) held serve at home against the No. 10 Panthers 22-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-18. The team was tentative with its serve at the start, and the defense was a bit out of sync. But coach Wyvonne Walling made some defensive adjustments that changed the match.
"We played sound. Nothing flashy, nothing phenomenal...just sound," Walling said.
