- Offering scholarships for professional growth and continuing education
- Recruiting and scheduling volunteer support
- Hosting events and presenting tokens of appreciation and recognition
To support parents and promote parent involvement by:
- Offering programs on parent education
- Providing information related to school issues and community interests
- Encouraging increased participation and volunteerism at the school and district levels
To improve lines of communication and to promote CHHS by:
- Providing information to parents and students through electronic newsletters, student phone book, cable, press releases, marquee, phone master etc.
- Distributing updates to encourage faculty and staff participation at PTSA meetings and activities
- Actively participating in school district activities
To promote PTSA volunteer enrichment and leadership training by:
- Providing funds for PTA training
- Attending PTA training sessions, conferences, seminars and conventions
- Participating on the Council of PTAs, campus, district and other pertinent committees
