Background:

 I was a Shorthand Reporter for several years, but taking depositions just didn’t cut it for me. I decided to complete my degree before my children graduated high school. I graduated from UTA two weeks before my oldest son graduated from CHHS. After substituting for a short time, I knew I wanted to teach. I feel fortunate to be at GCISD working with an amazing group of people. I am currently working on my Gifted/Talented Endorsement through UNT.


       

Teaching Philosophy:

 My classroom is a safe place for students to learn, grow, and ask. Respect for one another is expected. My belief is that when students reach a place where they know it is okay to learn, then their natural curiosity will expand and they will reach for more knowledge.
