Background: I graduated from the Grapevine Colleyville Independent School District in l988 and have lived in the Metroplex all of my life.

I began teaching in the GCISD in 1997. I have taught Inclusion English, All Lab, Job Training, and Early Childhood, Home bound, In-home Training. I currently teach Inclusion Resource for Science, Social Studies and electives. I like working with High School students the best because of the energy and excitement that these young adults have for the future.

I married Patrick during my first year of teaching. I have one daughter, one stepdaughter and one stepson. We are a very close family and enjoy spending time together.

Teaching Philosophy: I love to challenge students to take ownership of their education. I believe that students learn best when lessons are taught in real life situations and with hands on activities. Each student is an individual who comes to me with prior learning that I can build on. An atmosphere of kindness and respect is very important to me.
Personal Statement: >I love being a parent, wife and a teacher.  I love to read magazines, swim, and go on adventures with my family.
