Background:
I have been happily married to Jim Bailey for 26 years. We have two children, Lesli, a proud Aggie graduate and Jake, a senior at the University of Georgia. Both of my children are graduates of Colleyville Heritage High School, where I spent many hours as a volunteer and substitute before joining the faculty this year. We moved to Colleyville in 1988 when there were still cows and horses and open land. And although we claim Georgia as ‘home’, our roots are deeply planted in this community.
Educational Philosophy:
My goal as an educator is to assist students in achieving their full academic potential. I believe Communication Applications is a perfect building ground for students to improve both interpersonal and intrapersonal communication. My desire is to create a community of learning in the classroom that inspires students to learn for personal enrichment and because curiosity is awakened and the motivation is “I just want to know”.
