Teaching Philosophy: |
Before becoming a teacher I valued education, but never could I truly appreciate it’s beauty as seen and experienced trough the eyes and heart of one. To be part of a process that allows us to have a role in the shaping and molding of young people’s minds and character is indeed truly rewarding. I believe that teaching is more than just textbooks and testing, it is also about knowing the students and their needs. A teacher’s number one job is to prepare students to enter and succeed in the outside world. As a teacher I believe that a classroom should be built on respect among all those involved. We must remember that as teachers we don’t only have an obligation to the students but also the community. We are role models and should encourage a lifetime of learning.
