Education:
Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Major in English/Secondary Education.
Background:
I have been on staff at Colleyville Heritage since 2000. I was born and raised in Illinois. Outside of school, I enjoy playing a variety of sports as well as being active in my church and community theater.
Educational Philosophy:
We are constantly trying to make sense of the world around us. I believe reading literature forms the foundation upon which we interpret our lives. Improving our written and verbal communication skills gives us the tools we need to make our thoughts and feelings known in professional as well as personal endeavors.
Personal Statement:
Each student that enters my classroom has the potential to succeed. I depend on students’ attendance and effort on a daily basis.
