Background: |
Upon graduation from Baylor, I entered the world of education at Boswell High School. I was there 3 years and taught mathematics. I then moved to the Fort Worth Independent School District, where I taught at Arlington Heights for a year, went to Commerce High School for a year, and then returned to Heights for the last four years. This will be my tenth year of teaching and I feel very fortunate to be around such a quality set of colleagues and students. . |
|
Educational Philosophy: |
I believe that all students can succeed. Math can be intimidating, but I believe that
students need to be challenged with high standards. My philosophy is that if I can teach
every student some form of life skill as I present mathematical material, I am preparing them
for the next stage of their life journey out of school. |

Personal Statement: |
Beyond the teaching world, I have finished year one of marriage. I have a pet beagle named
Wrigley. I love the sports world and follow it passionately. I hope that your child learns a
lot of strong foundational math skills while under my wing, and that you will not hesitate to
contact me if there is any other way I can assist. |
