| Buy your football tickets for Friday night’s home game vs. Cedar Hill in the
main office. $3 for students and #6 for adults. If you wait and buy your ticket at the gate
they are $7.
This Friday is our first pep rally of the year! Come out and support your Panthers as they take on Cedar Hill! Our theme for the week is "Back to Reality" and we will be highlighting some of our favorite reality shows at the pep rally. Make sure you dress like your favorite "reality star". | We have sold out of student planners. New planners have been ordered; an
announcement will be made when they come in. Student Council membership packets are in the office. For more about student council, click here. Attention Students with classes at GHS-The shuttle bus schedule to Grapevine is posted at the Attendance office. First bus of the day picks up @ the normal bus stop behind the school. All other busses pick up in the circle drive in front of the school. Due to differing schedules on Advisory Days the shuttles will run at normal times. It is your responsibility to be at the bus at the specified time. If you are wishing to drive to Grapevine HS you must complete a transportation waiver that can be picked up in the main office. The Class of 2008 will meet in A205 on Tuesday, September 4 after school. Even if you have not been involved before, please come to the meeting. We will be nominating officers and discussing important plans for the year. The French Club and the National French Honor Society will have a meeting immediately after school on Wednesday in room A205. We will be nominating officers and talking about the year's activities. Attention all Juniors! There will be an interest meeting for Junior Class Council Thursday after school in B316 (Mrs. Fuse's Room). Please attend and bring lots of friends! Any freshman boy interested in playing fall baseball, there is a tryout next Tuesday (Sept. 4) at 6:00pm at the CHHS Baseball field. Please bring all equipment that you will need to tryout. If you have questions, contact Coach McDougal. If you are freshman girl and you want to play softball for CHHS this year please contact Coach Stephens on the softball field this week after school. Parking permits can be purchased in the main office. $50 a semester and you must provide your license plate #. Applications for the Pantera Honor Guards are available from Mrs. Woodruff in the dance gym. Come enjoy hanging out with 70 beautiful girls at the Friday night football game! |

Buy at the Bookstore Your PTSA CHHS Bookstore is open for your convenience in the cafeteria for
these first two weeks of school, then every Wednesday thereafter at Lunchtime. Take
advantage of about $2 off of every book! Help Support your PTSA, every penny we do make goes
back into your school. Its a win, win situation!!! Every book you buy enter for a great
drawing to be given away each semester. We also have a "Book Swap"t his year. So

| Little girls can now learn how to kick like the big girls. Not soccer, but
dance. Girls from kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to the Colleyville Heritage
High School (CHHS) Pantera Junior Dance Team Clinic. The drill team clinic will be held at
CHHS on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $30.
The girls who attend the clinic will perform their new dance at the varsity football game on Friday, Sept. 14. They will be part of the 7 p.m. pre-show at the game between Heritage and Lake Highlands High Schools at Mustang/Panther Stadium in Grapevine. Announcing Cheerfest - Sept. 8 (afternoon) |

| Cheerfest is an annual event for children ages 4 thru 6th grade. It will
be held September 8, 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. The CHHS Cheerleaders will help promote spirit among the
young participants by teaching motions and words to cheers and sideline chants used at every
Panther football game, as well as dance motions to a basic dance routine.
All participants are invited to help the cheerleaders get the crowd pumped up and give a pre-game performance on September 14, at the Panthers home game against Lake Highlands at Mustang-Panther Stadium. Click here for more information. |
