TRIP PAYMENTS
Our final billing has been calculated. With adjustments for the increased
Euro exchange rate and additional fuel surcharges, our remaining amount for
each participant will be $115.96. Considering this amount could have been
as high as an additional $350, I am once again reminded how thankful I am to
work with a company like US Integrity Touring. |
TRIP SHIRTS
At our information meeting, I failed to talk about our desire for a trip
shirt. In our previous travels, we have found it very beneficial to have a
unified shirt for going to our destination and on our return. In other
words, we would wear our shirts when traveling on the 13th as well as our
return date of the 22nd. This is a great visual help, especially when it
comes to moving through airports. It, of course, would be a great piece of
memorabilia as well! We are pursuing a 100% cotton long-sleeve t-shirt
which would be no more than $15.00. We will be gathering sizes from the
students during their classes and will be ordering one for all trip
participants--students and adults. |
BAGGAGE WEIGHT LIMIT REVISION
The most current information on checked baggage weight limit is 50 lbs.
This is different from the 55 lbs. previously stated in the contract.
Expect any checked bag that exceeds 50 lbs. to have a $25 or great
additional charge added at check-in. |
PASSPORT/MONEY HOLDERS
American Airlines will donate up to 100 passport/money holders that go
around your neck and can be concealed under your shirt. If you would like
one, please let me know. |
3-1-1 BROCHURE / MEDICAL & PERSCRIPTION INFORMATION
A brochure with much more detailed information about what liquids/aerosols
you can take in your carryon is attached to this email. Also is a
memorandum from the TSA regarding medications. View it HERE. |
INTERNATIONAL CELL PHONE RENTAL
For one solution for having a phone that works internationally, visit <<
www.roadpost.com >> or (866-404-3335) for weekly rentals. Otherwise, check with
your cell phone provider to insure coverage is available. |
VATICAN DRESS CODE
Slacks, pants, or jeans without holes in them are acceptable for both girls
and guys. Again, we are discouraging wearing jeans much. |
